We enjoyed doing our entry for the The Gathering Space Competition for Scotland's 'pavillion' at the Venice Architecture Biennale. The designs did not win but were exhibited at The Lighthouse Architecture Centre in Glasgow. It is an ensemble of a simple wall of plywood frames and screens that pivot to display, shelter or enclose. Satellite screens provide seating and stabilisation of the structure, and a stage cube anchors an awning over the main seating. The whole dismantles for reuse in smaller components throughout the city.
