Jen first joined WT Architecture in 2014 as a student from Edinburgh University’s School of Architecture and continued to work with us throughout her architectural education. After completing her Masters in Architecture in 2017, she decided to return to the practice and follow her interest in the architecture of people, place and landscape specific design. She is currently working on a steading conversion and extension project in the Pentland Hills after having assisted with the construction for our New House by Loch Tummel.
Alongside her work in the studio, Jen has been co-running the practice’s community architectural film series, ASPECT:Cinema, aiming to connect WTA with other creatives in and around Edinburgh and explore changing styles of architecture and filmmaking. Outside of the studio, Jen engages with humanitarian communities that help support those affected by the growing refugee crisis and is interested in spreading awareness and the role that social architecture can play. She also enjoys walking Scotland’s mountainous landscapes and spending time in the Outer Hebrides.
