Green Olive Projects have made fantastic progress on site over the past few weeks. Initial works included the gratifying demolition of the ghastly plastic conservatory at the back of the house and interior strip out to the existing building.

The first few weeks have not been without their challenges with Green Olive tackling the difficult task of breaking out the triple reinforcements of the existing foundation slab and facing the pressures to get the new foundations laid before the ‘beast from the East’ arrived. Despite the bad weather the Green Olive team are storming ahead.

Progress has been made in the kitchen with the propping and main slapping of the existing Western wall. We can already see the benefits of opening up and extending the building to the West, transforming the dark and compressed existing kitchen space into an open and light space.

We cannot wait to see how Green Olive progress over the coming weeks!
