Susie Turley joined WT Architecture in 2007 after completing her studies at Edinburgh University and became an Associate in 2011. Her work currently focuses on the conversion of listed and historic buildings, with projects in Edinburgh, Dunbar, Carrick Castle and the Isle of Iona. She has also led larger projects, including The Forth Bridge Experience and a housing development in Northamptonshire, alongside award-winning domestic projects across Scotland, including The Mill, Elie House and Circus Lane Mews.
Susie’s approach to conservation centers on adaptive reuse, creatively converting historic buildings to new spaces and uses in both urban and rural settings. She is particularly focused on how contemporary interventions allow buildings to evolve, exploring flexible approaches to a more sustainable future.
