Francille raven castro
ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT

Francille joined WT Architecture as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in January 2024 after completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Sheffield.

During her studies, Francille developed a strong interest in community focused architecture. Her final year project titled ‘Pride Avenue’ proposed the reuse of an existing building in Salford into a safe queer community space that also serves as the base of the LGBTQ+ organisation, Peter Tatchell Foundation.

Francille joined WT Architecture to learn how practices design with existing buildings, sensitive landscapes and local communities. She is currently working on the early stages of several residential and community projects.

Outside the studio, Francille can be found exploring different areas of Edinburgh, particularly the city’s art scene through its galleries and exhibitions.
