Jodie joined WT Architecture in 2024 and is working on a number of exciting residential and community buildings. Prior to joining WTA, Jodie worked at IF_DO and Haworth Tompkins Architects in London, where she led on a number of residential and community projects. Whilst in London, Jodie was a mentor at ‘I Can Be’, a charity group which aims to the broaden the horizons of disadvantaged young girls by introducing them to the job of Architect and other professions.

Jodie is passionate about creating positive change through architecture by; exploring sustainable solutions, advocating for retrofit, and working with local people and community groups to create high-quality buildings that support and empower communities.

Jodie’s interest in contextualism and craft, led to her award-winning Diploma thesis study which celebrated the mundane symbols found in the vernacular of the city of Antwerp. The thesis project titled ‘Strangely Familiar’ was the recipient of a number of awards and recognitions, including the Royal Scottish Academy’s (RSA) New Contemporaries Medal for Architecture 2020, the RIAS Andy MacMillan Drawing Award, and the RIAS Rowand Anderson Silver Medal.
